Yelena is an absolutely fantastic piano teacher. Our daughter took lessons from her (at Dancing Fingers Studio) from 2011 until 2021. Yelena consistently exhibited the excellent combination of technical skill, intuitive teaching ability, and the ability to build rapport with her students. The result for us is a daughter who not only plays very well, but will have a lifelong love of and appreciation for music. We were truly sad when Yelena moved out of state, but are glad to know she can share her knowledge and talent with those in her new hometown in Florida. I cannot overstate it when I write that we highly recommend her and Dancing Fingers Studio!

My daughter studied with Yelena for almost 4 years(until we moved about a year ago). Yelena is very passionate about teaching children. She is an excellent motivator and always uses positive reinforcement to encourage her students. She provides lots of opportunities for students to compete and showcase their skills. She’s also very focused on teaching good habits from the beginning. Good posture, correct hand positioning, and respect for the piano. I also noticed that if something isn’t working she’s very good at shifting gears and teaching a skill in a different way. My daughter had a great connection with Yelena and lots of positive memories to boot!

Yelena taught our son for five years. She focused on his individuality and nurtured his talent. He always felt positive about his experience and formed a bond with Yelena. She recognized his passion, exposed him to new things and developed his technical skills. Dancing Fingers was a perfect fit! Highly recommend.

Ms Yelena is awesome! We've been with the studio 5 years. We have 2 kids taking lessons (ages 10 & 6). She is a talented musician and gifted teacher, very good with kids. She engages them in various ways and formats, so no matter the learning style, you're sure to develop a passion and technique for music under her instruction!

Mrs. Yelena has been our kids piano teacher for the last four years.
Under her school, our kids won many piano competitions got many acclaims and awards.
Mrs.Yelena is accomplished pianist, passionate teacher who loves kids. Her piano lesson is tailored to each kids ability and interest. Her teaching style is firm, yet delicate. She believes in piano practice.

You are a wonderful teacher! You help your students develop all important aspects of playing piano. First and foremost important is rhythm. It is wonderful that your students count carefully and keep a steady tempo. The technique is developing nicely. Their fingers play evenly and they play with the confidence. They use good tone.
